Position Overview: The Warehouse Worker will play a critical role in our furniture manufacturing process by managing and organizing inventory, facilitating efficient material flow, and ensuring that all furniture components are readily available for production. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering superior furniture products to our customers. Responsibilities: – Inventory Management: Oversee the receiving, storage, and organization of furniture materials and components. – Material Handling: Safely handle, transport, and move furniture components within the warehouse. – Quality Control: Inspect incoming materials and components for quality and accuracy. – Order Fulfillment: Prepare and stage materials for production orders, ensuring they are readily accessible for manufacturing teams. – Inventory Tracking: Utilize inventory management systems to track stock levels, update records, and generate reports. – Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, maintain a safe work environment, and participate in safety training. – Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure the seamless flow of materials to the production areas. – Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment with precision and safety. Qualifications: – A minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse role within the furniture manufacturing industry. – High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or safety certifications are a plus. – Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling. – Familiarity with quality control procedures and material inspection. – Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks. – Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records. – Strong communication and teamwork skills. – Adherence to safety guidelines and a safety-conscious approach to all tasks. – Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
