Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) is seeking an Vehicle Test Engineer for our Military Support Programs (MSP) ATLO team. As a Vehicle Test Engineer, you will: Perform test execution, develop, and review test documentation Create and contribute to development of automated test scripts used during test execution Document test results and test discrepancies Moderate among the interests of multi-disciplinary groups to synthesize test plans and test procedures Coordinate subsystem and/or system testing activities with support organizations Work within a fast-paced production operations environment that will include occasional 24/7 support and occasional travel to support full lifecycle operations Benefits of Employment: Lockheed Martin Space offers a total compensation package from competitive wages, on-site medical care and healthy living incentives! All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, or disability status. #SpaceVets #ATLO Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering or related field preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and requirements Experience drafting technical documents, drawings, or procedures Experience with scripting/task automation using Python, MATLAB, Perl or similar language Final Top Secret required Desired skills SCI clearance Experience in an assembly/integration and test environment, preferably in aerospace, to include an understanding of the test process Experience in space vehicle test operations including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, anomaly resolution, and electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and digital multi-meters Certified Test Conductor (CTC) with experience in SV Integration and Test including: Baseline Ambient, Full Functional, Thermal Vacuum, Acoustic, EMC/EMI, Final Functional, and Launch Base Operations Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors Demonstrated experience in Assembly operations/Test operations. Excellent verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members Demonstrated technical writing and communication skills with experience writing system level test plans, test procedures, and test information sheets. Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space Systems system tools (STARS, Automation Framework, EPDM) or industry equivalent. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
