The Senior Test Data Management (TDM) Engineer will provide test data management implementation expertise and hands-on TDM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the creation, maintenance, and validation of test data used in our software development and testing process. The Senior Test Data Management Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that test data is effectively utilized and managed throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain test data management strategies and procedures Collaborate with software development and testing teams to ensure that test data is effectively managed throughout the software development lifecycle Analyze and understand the data requirements for different testing scenarios and prepare the test data accordingly Create and maintain test data repositories and ensure their security and integrity Design and implement automated data generation and masking processes to ensure that data is available for testing as needed Develop and maintain data verification and validation procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of test dataCreate and maintain test data traceability matrices to ensure that data is tracked throughout the software development lifecycle Monitor test data usage and identify areas for optimization and improvements Provide guidance and support to other members of the testing team on test data management best practices Collaborate with project management teams to ensure that test data management processes align with project timelines and goals Experience with IBM Infosphere TDM OPTIM required or similar enterprise TDM tool. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field At least 5 years of experience in test data management, with experience in software development and testing environments TDM Optim and Plutora Expertise in IBM Optim. Must have hands-on (practical) experience on Google (formerly Actifio) VDP (virtual data pipeline), IBM TDF (test data fabrication) and ORSON TDO (test data orchestrator) functions within the IBM Optim tool. Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies Experience in creating and managing test data repositories Familiarity with data generation and masking tools and techniques Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional team.
