Employees who choose virtual / remote work should have an adequate space to serve as their home office. #LI-REMOTE Responsibilities The Information Security Office (ISO) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer within their Identity and Access Management (IAM). This role is focused on the development and evolution of the IAM solutions responsible for providing authentication and authorization to both internal and external applications. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and modify our custom solutions that support mission critical business processes and systems. Your day-to-day will involve contributions to both daily operations and IAM strategic initiatives. As a Senior Software Engineer, your daily activities will include collaborating with engineers and technical leadership to analyze, design, develop, test, maintain, and document code. In your role, you will collaborate with other engineers and architects to provide feedback for implementing solutions and capabilities, ensuring security standards are met. You will be responsible for ensuring your tasks are completed on time and with high quality standards. You will also be required to meet key performance metrics to ensure compliance of established standards, processes, and procedures. You must be able to work in a fast paced, production environment handling multiple tasks supporting multiple clients. On-call responsibilities as part of shared team rotation is required. Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Required: Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities 3+ years of related experience Professional Java development experience Deep understanding of object-oriented analysis, design and development using design patterns Professional experience developing Web Services Professional experience using open source Java frameworks such as Spring, Apache Commons etc. Experience using modern build systems such Maven, Gradle, Ant Experience with WebLogic J2EE container Experience with Tomcat servlet and JSP container Experience with Terraform with AWS Experience with Jenkins build server Experience using JDBC to integrate applications to Database, preferably Oracle Working knowledge of source code control systems, Git preferred Must have strong communication skills to effectively interact with various IT teams and business representatives Must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and have the ability to handle multiple tasks Must be able to work independently with limited supervision Must have the ability to effectively collaborate and work with others in a remote work environment Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible with changing priorities and requirements Perform necessary production support tasks involving on-call responsibilities that would involve both during and after work hours Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred Must have experience in full lifecycle development and end-to-end testing Knowledge and working experience with Agile methodologies Understanding of authentication and authorization principles and standards Understanding and experience using transaction management capabilities of EJB, Hibernate or other Java frameworks Experience using git bash preferred Knowledge and experience using UNIX such as command line operation
