We’re seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our growing mobile team. As a Senior Engineer, your day-to-day work will focus on writing great code using modern tools such as React Native, Bitrise, GraphQL, and Redux Toolkit. You’ll work with a highly collaborative team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build exciting new features in our application, and ultimately service our users, helping them to discover new restaurants. You’ll also help us set best practices for writing code and growing/maintaining our codebase. This role will report to an Engineering Manager and be responsible for planning and contributing high-quality code to our codebase. We are looking for candidates who are willing to work East Coast hours of 9am-5pm EST. Job Responsibilities Write high-quality code using TypeScript, React Native, Redux Toolkit, GraphQL, and other modern tools Plan and implement software with a dynamic and distributed team of engineers Help plan sprints, do retrospectives, and strategize on the technical roadmap Work with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment Own the creation of new features on our application, from development to production Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills You have 4+ years of full-time software engineering experience You are a skilled mobile application developer with experience using TypeScript and modern hybrid mobile platforms (e.g. React Native, Flutter, and Xamarin) You’ve contributed code with a team in an agile development environment You are empathetic, curious, and pragmatic You are constantly learning and re-evaluating previous assumptions Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Experience with the following technologies: React Native, Typescript, Redux Toolkit, GraphQL Experience with CI/CD pipelines, E2E (end to end) tests, Contentful, A/B testing, native development Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
