As a Senior Electronics Engineer, Youll: Design quick-turn circuit boards from conceptual phase through design completion to meet diverse and innovative performance requirements. Develop detailed circuit designs, schematics, board layout preparation, part list preparation, prototype development, and board bring up. Perform peer design reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to your team members. Assist in preparing technical presentations for internal and customer reviews. Identify technical issues, propose solutions, and ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve the technical issues. Write test plans and procedures for testing hardware for fielding of prototypes, with potential of transitioning prototypes to production. Ensure the project’s compliance with the applicable Intellisense practices and performance standards. What You’ll Bring to the Table as a Senior Electronics Engineer: 5-8+ years of experience in board level design of digital and/or analog electronics. B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field. Passion for electronics and hardware design with creative and critical thinking. Experience with Electronics CAD tools such as Altium, Cadence, Orcad, or equivalent. Familiar with Circuit simulation tools such as LTspice, Vsim, Modelism, or equivalent. Must have strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. System integration/production support as needed. Experience in development/management of electrical design, electrical architecture, and requirements. Ability to deliver on multiple project timelines in a fast-paced development small team environment. Excellent computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) including presenting design progress during major project milestones (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR). Nice To Haves: Experience with MIL-STD testing (MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810). Experience designing for high reliability Avionics applications. Familiar with state-of-the-art PCB fabrication technology (SMT, BGA, blind and buried microvia, flex circuits, etc.) and assembly. Design proficiency with microcontrollers, FPGA, communications interface, and analog interface. Experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously while meeting milestone deliverables. Technical understanding and proficiency in C programming for ARM processors and/or microcontrollers. Familiar with firmware using VHDL/Verilog for FPGA development. Proficient in PCB layout of complex boards. Capable of producing engineering drawings and documentation with an understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM). U.S. Citizenship.
