Job Summary: Help at Home is looking to hire an Engineer to work as part of our IT Software Engineering Services practice on Salesforce.com HealthCloud development, support and enhancement. This person will need to demonstrate an understanding of software engineering concepts and be responsible for working on full lifecycle engineering efforts using Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted design patterns and practices. Candidates will be working collaboratively with client and project teams as well as working from proposal & development to deployment and support. As a key member of the team: You are flexible and can embrace change You value progress over perfection You care about your work, the team youre on, and the people we are helping You make it a priority to get to know the people around you “ build relationships with your colleagues and business partners You say what needs to be said, while considering how itll affect culture and output Hold others to a high standard Responsibilities: Develop Apex (classes and triggers) and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code Collaborating with IT / Developers for other systems in order to integrate across the business Implement and maintain Salesforce customizations such as custom fields and objects, layouts, workflows, process builder, and validation rules Participate in the planning and analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements Meet with internal stakeholders to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment Perform configuration and customization of the Salesforce.com platform. Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com HealthCloud platform Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in administration and development of Salesforce Cloud Functionality Experience with Salesforce HealthCloud Knowledge of Salesforce data structures, permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas Experience developing custom APEX and Visualforce components Experience migrating data and customizations across Salesforce environments Strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks Excellent troubleshooting skills Knowledge of software development processes and best practices Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development Experience and expertise in core web technologies including HTML5, Javascript and jQuery Software engineering skills with Force.com Platform (Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Unit Testing) Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce.com. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Required: Bachelors degree required – Computer Science, MIS or equivalent Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills 2+ years experience with Force.com developer toolkit – Apex, VisualForce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs Experience working on Salesforce platforms or other CRM software packages (Microsoft CRM, InterAction, SalesLogix, Oracle On-Demand, SAP etc.) preferred A desire to work with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies (Force.com Platform, Eclipse, Talend Open Studio, Oracle, MySQL, Visual Studio 2012, object relational (O/R) mapping (NHibernate), NUnit) A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment. Desirable: Competency in other languages / development (XML, Flex, JavaScript, Java, .NET, SQL, C#, C++, SOAP/REST web services/APIs Comfortable managing a team as a technical lead Demonstrates continued personal/professional development, Active in the Salesforce community.
