Healthcare Partners Staffing is looking for a RN-Med-Surgical/ED:$2,400/ Weekly Gross 

Start Date: 7/31/23 Hours Per Week: 36 Shift: Night Contract Length: 13 Weeks Total Compensation:$2,400/Weekly Gross Regular Pay Rate:$36.14/ hour Overtime Rate:50.21/hour Total Taxable: $1,501.00/Weekly Housing Stipend:$686.00 M&IE Stipend:$413.00 General job duties. Types of procedures required. Caring for all ages and medical emergencies, including but not limited to, traumas, stokes, stemi, cardiac arrests, Procedural sedation, IVs, EKGs, assist with suturing, transferring patients, caring for inpatient being held in the ED. Pushing carts (transferring patients from unit to unit). Will cross over into Med/Surg. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. We use EPIC ASAP charting, Phillip monitors, accudose medication dispensing system, Aleris pumps. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Pt assesments, IVs, charting, able to care for a multiple patients at a time, (generally 4-5), organized, medication knowledge. Would like them to have at least 2 years of experience. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations are required. Need to have ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NIHSS (STROKE), and BLS. Shift or schedule requirements. There will be Shift work to include Days, Nights, Mids, they will never be working alone, there is no call, they will be working every other weekend, and they will be scheduled to work every other holiday. 12-hour shifts, starting at 5 am-5:30 pm, 9 am-9:30 pm, 11 am-11:30 pm, 2 pm-2:30 am, 5 pm-5:30 am. Floating to over units/departments. This would be very rare that they would float, if they did it would be to a med-surg area, but the likelihood of floating will be very rare. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. The ED is a 23 bed unit, we are a level 2 trauma center, we see about 110 patients in a 24 hour period. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 4-1 to 5-1, based on acuity and staffing.
