What you’ll do Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to create comprehensive test plans that align with project goals and requirements. Identify test objectives, scope, and test strategies. Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of web applications. Perform manual and automated testing as necessary. Identify and document defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Evaluate the code base with our developers to improve test coverage across the product. Know our product inside and out to serve as a senior technical resource for the whole QA team. Document like you mean it! Test requirements, environments, processes; they all deserve to be recorded in loving detail. Report test metrics, code coverage, and your fantastic successes to management. About you A bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field of study. 6+ years in a professional software QA role with 2+ years in using/building automation framework. A tester’s Mindset; ability to isolate and troubleshoot technical issues across the full technology stack by leveraging manual and automation testing methodologies. Ability to align QA processes with agile/scrum methodology, sprint planning and execution. Experience building test plans, test cases and test scenarios. Experience with API testing. Experience working with large scale distributed systems and microservices based applications. Experience with version control, continuous integration system – GIT, Jenkins, GitLa. Experience working in Unix/Linux environments and scripting. Team player with positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire for self-improvement.
