Looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer! We are in search of a seasoned professional who excels in creative problem-solving, especially in fast-paced environments. The ability to work independently while maintaining the highest customer service standards is crucial. ****Must reside in Los Angeles Area**** This position is remote with approximately 60-70% travel and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional overtime as needed. Primary Responsibilities: Provide on-site customer support for equipment malfunctions and troubleshooting, and offer technical phone support as required. Collaborate with management to ensure the implementation of appropriate Service Call escalation measures when necessary. Execute installations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a diverse range of equipment. Assist in scheduling, coordinating, and conducting on-site product installations, training sessions, and assay validation activities. Document and communicate all customer interactions in accordance with Quality System requirements. Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures in accordance with Quality System requirements. Track and analyze preventive maintenance (PM) activities and service call metrics to assess instrument performance and customer satisfaction against Quality System objectives. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of experience with Clinical Chemistry Analyzers. Beckman AU experience or equivalent a plus. High school diploma is a requirement. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues on complex analytical instrumentation. Strong communication skills and an exceptional commitment to customer service.
