What is Offered: Salary range: $180,000-250,000 DOE Medical Benefits: Blue Cross Blue Shield employee premiums are paid by Employer. Annual sick leave is not accrued from year to year. 13 paid holidays PTO: Less than 5 years 2 weeks per year 5-10 years 3 weeks per year Over 10 year 4 weeks per year Primary Function: This is a position on the IC development team working on the next generation HyperX processor design. You will be working on the specification, micro-architecture and RTL logic design of blocks in the HyperX processor. You will collaborate with other engineering teams on designs to meet functional, performance and power requirements. Essential Job Functions – Responsibilities: Unit-level specification, micro-architecture, and design documentation Implement logic in Verilog RTL based on high-level specifications Assist in functional verification specifications and reviews Perform unit and top-level synthesis and timing closure Work with team members across logic design, verification, physical design, and DFT Interface with Applications and Software development teams Support post-silicon verification and bring up Education and Experience: (Knowledge, skills, & abilities) Ability to pass a post-offer background verification. Bachelors of Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering (BSCS and/or BSEE) Preferred: Master of Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (MSCS and/or MSEE) A minimum of 7 years of industry work experience in: RTL-level design of modern processors Micro-architecture in one or more of the following areas: Instruction fetch and decode, branch prediction, breakpoint logic, integer and floating-point execution pipelines, data paths RTL logic design for synthesis to meet power, frequency and area targets Understanding tradeoffs of functionality, performance & physical implementation General assembly language of modern GPUs or DSPs Industry-standard RTL simulation and debug tools Design of test benches using Verilog, System Verilog, or UVM Perl or another similar scripting languages Experience interfacing with various teams Strong interpersonal skills focused on finding the best solutions Work Environment ENGINEERING: Standard office environment with normal amounts of office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation.
