Job Summary: The Principal IS Business Systems Analyst will partner with other developers, architects and technology decision-makers to guide overall direction of the user interface layer of the site and will work closely with Technical Leads, Application Architects, Software Developers and Management in a highly collaborative environment. The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering to strategic business vision, enterprise level architecture strategies, and developing innovative enterprise IT enablement practices that create business value. Responsibilities: Serve as a partner working with business and IS collaborators to support the analysis and planning phase of a regulatory transformation initiative focused on Generative AI and Structured Content Management/Authoring initiatives specifically supporting CTD authoring and content generation, and master data integration Responsibilities include process and systems analysis, requirements elicitation, articulating system solutions and approaches for addressing business needs and establishing solutions at the business and technical level Engage with key vendors and Amgen platform owners to understand functionality and how those platforms can be used to tackle the business problems Help define technical roadmaps Lead technical evaluations and prototypes Provide technical direction, and business knowledge of detailed design, development in program scoping Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of Information Systems experience OR Masters degree or equivalent experience and 4 years of Information Systems experience OR Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 6 years of Information Systems experience OR Associates degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent experience /GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience Qualifications: Experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry Nice to have: Experience with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processes, and overall submission filing process Strong communications skills in writing, speaking, presenting and time management skills Understanding, and preferably applied experience and knowledge in the application of Generative AI in the submission/CTD document drafting Structured Content Management/Authoring space Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of experience with data integration architecture, design, and development for enterprise data lake / fabric or document/content management systems (Documentum, OpenText, SharePoint, etc.) 7+ years customer-facing technical consulting experience 5+ years development experience with one of the following languages “ Java, .NET, Python, C#, or C++ OR database administration or design Experience building solutions and interfaces in the cloud, SaaS applications using REST APIs Experience defining technical roadmaps and driving adoption Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off 401(k) plan and contributions Long-term/Short-term Disability Paid Parental Leave Employee Stock Purchase Plan Disclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
