Job Description As a valued contributor to our team, you will consult with management on the development of processes and procedures for designing and implementing components of technological structures. In this role, you will create solutions with a process-driven view, as well as maintain and/or update existing structures. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Enterprise Architecture – Architecture – Principal role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: Determine the needs of diverse and complex customer groups by applying understanding and resolution of complex or unusual business problems. Translate functional requirements into technical solutions, and may lead matrixed teams. Oversee existing structures, as well as the implementation and ongoing monitoring of governance. Perform modeling, analysis, and planning to solve technical business problems and identify opportunities and risks. Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Experiences & Skills 8 years of experience leading architecture governance processes such as technology selection and architecture review boards, implementing Cloud (AWS) solutions, building proofs-of-concept, and migrating large-scale workloads to the cloud using native solutions. 5+ years of experience securing enterprise applications on public cloud service providers, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and performing Application Security assessments. 5+ years experience in applying enterprise integration patterns using API gateways and cloud-native services, architecting for multi-resiliency using the enterprise patterns 4+ years experience with Enterprise Data on the cloud, building architecture supporting analytical & machine learning tools & workloads using Apache Spark, Flink, SageMaker, or equivalent platforms combined with knowledge of distributed data architecture concepts such as sharding, caching, and stream-processing using Kafka or Kinesis to hydrate data lakes. 2+ years of experience developing and implementing layered security architecture, architecture designs to remediate vulnerabilities, and securing applications in the cloud. 7+ years of experience managing stakeholders, including negotiating, influencing, and persuading others. Excellent collaboration skills, including written and verbal communication skills. 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise or Solution Architect with a development background using Python or Java on the cloud. 5+ years of experience in AWS services such as EC2, ECS Fargate, Lambda, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Eventbridge, SageMaker, Athena, Glue, VPC, CloudFront, etc., and experience using APIs for developing or programming software. 5+ years of experience designing systems to control, monitor, and manage large, complex, and sometimes geographically dispersed IT infrastructure and applications to optimize IT service delivery. Desired Experiences & Skills Bachelors degree or equivalent 5+ years of experience in stakeholder and vendor management 2+ years of experience working with streaming platforms such as Kinesis or Kafka and Containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or Fargate Working knowledge of information architecture methodologies; enterprise-wide data architecture for designing and building data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and BI reporting databases. Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts such as KNN, Random Forest, Naïve Bayes, and Neural Networks and deploying them on Sagemaker is a plus. Apply advanced concepts to translate and execute business direction & strategy, assess its impact on organization, process, data, and technology, identify actionable change needed, and conceptual conceptualize digital products. 3+ years of experience providing business, data, application, and technology thought leadership in discussions with IT delivery teams and business partners 3+ years of experience translating security control requirements into technical guardrails, risk assessment, and management, including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, and remediating risks. 3+ years of experience decomposing monolithic applications into micro-services using 12-factor application principles. Understanding of DevOps pipeline design, including infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD (e.g., Gitlab), and package repositories (e.g., Artifactory) 5+ years of experience in presenting to Executive management with visual concepts that are easy and engaging with the ability to frame ideas as systems, analyzing inputs, outputs, and process into production-ready applications. 4+ years experience related to Risk Assessment and Management, including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc. 3+ years experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions, reviewing and selecting strategic options, and determining resources to meet the defined objectives. Experience in the Financial services industry is a plus. Experience integrating Salesforce with the AWS platform is a plus.
