Family Location: Minneapolis, MN Summary: A bit about us: We are a family of 4 focused on a fine balance of Mom and Dad being dedicated physicians and spending time together as a family with our 3-year-old son and 1-year-old girl. We have a full-time nanny and are looking for a replacement for our afternoon nanny, who will be leaving us in October to start a family of her own. In our jobs we see a lot, so we like to focus on the here and now with our family, making the most of every moment together! We love to be active, bike to a brewery, go to the childrens museum and eat dinner each night on the deck. We have a loveable 60 lb dog too, that wont need care, but may occasionally need you to let him out. And back in. And back out again. A bit about you: You are punctual and reliable. As physicians, we need to be in the office and need to count on you to be there in the afternoons. While we would like some structure, our children thrive more on consistency in routine. Someone who can keep their routine on track. You have experience with toddlers and are able to help them navigate their big feelings while still exploring the world around them. Job Duties: At the beginning of the day there is a 1 hour overlap with the full-time nanny. This is intentional so they can help us get a few things done, like laundry, clean up, running the dishwasher etc. The kids are usually napping or just getting up from their nap at this point. You would help them get a snack and then the afternoon is yours! They love to get outside and be active. They are silly and thrive when you engage in play with them. You are willing to be interactive and come up with things to do together! Occasionally you may need to feed the kids an easy dinner before mom and dad get home.
