Title: Sr. .NET Tech Lead Engineer Location: Southlake, TX 76092 – 99% Remote But Must be in the Dallas, Texas / DFW area (only reason its not 100% remote is the occasional face time and meetings with the team) Terms: Full Time / Direct Hire Salary: 130-140K Plus Bonus and Benefits Reports To: Head of USA IT Operations Direct Reports: 1 Engineer in the USA Right now Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sr. .NET Engineer / Team Lead. The successful candidate will be one of the founding technology leaders responsible for building and scaling a new US based Engineering department from the ground up, including hiring and managing a team of IT professionals. You will be leading a software development and QA team to continue improvements and functionality in both web and mobile based software application solutions in the InsureTech space. You will work closely with other departments to develop and implement strategies that support the overall goals and objectives of the organization. This will be 85% Hands on Software Engineering and 15% Management Required Experience C#, .NET Core, Angular, Visual Studio, SQL Management Server 5+ years of software development engineering experience Agile / Scrum / Extreme development experience Preferred Experience mentoring or leading junior developers Agile / SCRUM certifications desirable Insurance Platforms / Applications experience desirable “ InsurTech background helpful Startup oriented / minded “ loves to build teams from scratch Technical Skills & Knowledge Microsoft: ASP.NET/VB.NET/C#/Web APIs Frameworks: .NET, AngularJS, jQuery, React Web: HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, NodeJS, Bootstrap, Java, Go, Python and Ruby Databases: SQL Server, MySQL, Stored Procedure Development, Performance Tuning ORM: Entity Framework / NHibernate Other: Mobile Development, SOA, Enterprise Service Bus, Application scalability DevOps: Docker / Containers / Kubernetes experience desired Mobile: .NET, IOS and Android Framework development techniques Experience in building and consuming RESTful service implementation and Service Oriented Architecture Extensive experience in design and implementation of SaaS and Mobile based software applications and multi-tier distributed platforms. Hands-on Experience working in a multi-tenant cloud environment. Hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Unified Modeling Language (UML), stateless distributed architectures, and designing for scalability and performance. Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or the equivalent; designing architecture plans / patterns, employing solid principals and Strong Agile software development leadership; continuous integration or even more advanced continuous delivery concepts including test automation strategies not only on functional level but also on the typical -ability requirements like usability, stability, scalability and performance. Deep understanding of enterprise / cloud platform and mobile application designs Excellent people and verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate with internal/external partners at all levels. A great problem solver with ability to multitask and prioritize multiple incoming requests.
