Indotronix is seeking a Onsite Job – Mechanical Design Engineer for a Job Opportunity Job Title:Onsite Job – Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Indianapolis, IN, Duration: 1.1 Years Contract Max Pay: $43/hr to $47.51/hr on W2 Position comments: Looking for a Mechanical Engineer experience in thermos dynamics/Thermos fluids. HVAC Shift hours: morning shift 7am – 4pm Days of week: 5 Onsite; hybrid options are available after the worker starts, this can be discussed with HM. Job Description : Engineering – Mechanical Design – Advanced Manages delivery of mid to high level complexity research, design, and development of mechanical applications to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and ground test / mechanical tests. Additionally responsible for the CAD support of design projects and execution of Engineering design changes. Typically 9 – 15 years of relevant experience Key Responsibilities: This role supports the design, development and qualification of Residential Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps. The candidate will have responsibility for the following in addition to adhoc assignments as needed. -Collaborate with lab technicians to complete performance testing, reliability testing and regulatory testing requirements -Partner with manufacturing to ensure manufacturability requirements are documented and accounted for in the design. Facilitate a smooth transition to manufacturing for new designs -Give support for product quality assurance and issues solving Responsibility: -Complete discrete tasks to meet design and project objectives -Apply expert knowledge of Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials engineering -New product launch support from quality perspective Required Skill Set : Mechanical Engineer background -Effective communication, written and verbal, with a globally diverse audience -Understands of heat transfer, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics -Experience implementing design of experiments and data analysis technique -Proficient with Microsoft; Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word -Self-starter with ability to learn quickly -Experience working in a team environment -Organized with strong attention to detail Education Qualification : -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2-5 years of applicable experience
