Were currently looking for an Infotainment Test Engineer to join our growing team in Farmington Hills, MI. This role will be responsible for vehicle application and systems level validation of the infotainment system in assigned programs including functions such as AM, FM, SXM, BT-HF, BT-A, SPI (AA/ACP/Alexa), USB, Navi, Camera, etc. Job functions include but are not limited to: Perform vehicle application/reliability validation for several audio functions: AM/FM/SMX/HD radio, USB, Auxiliary, Configuration checks, and audio/vehicle settings. Perform software validation in support of safe launch of vehicle programs (features include: Audio, NAVI, Camera, BTHF_VR, Carplay, Android Auto, Vehicle Settings, Boot testing, CVEC checks, General function checks, etc.). Report issues to lead engineers and follow up on issues via JIRA issue tracking system. Provide test reports for vehicle application and software testing to engineer and management. Communicate closely with engineers and management to align on weekly test plan. Utilize various test equipment to analyze and root cause issues (CANalyzer, voltmeter, power supply, oscilloscope, etc.). Qualifications: 0-3 years of related experience required. Will not consider candidates with 3+ years of experience Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical or Computer preferred) Willingness to travel domestically (10-20% including overnight) & occasionally international. Willingness to work overtime when needed for job completion. Preferred but not required: Familiarity with CAN/Ethernet communication and using diagnostic tools such as Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, etc. Preferred but not required: Familiarity with vehicle level troubleshooting, diagnostics control, and usage of various test equipment (meter, oscilloscope, power supply, etc.) Welcome to an open lane of possibility.
