LMCareers Business Unit ENTERPRISE BUSINESS SERVICES Security Clearance TS/SCI Shift First Direct/Indirect Indirect Business Area Enterprise Operations Department 50333:Digital Data & Software Job Class Information Technology Job Category Experienced Professional Req Type Full-Time Job Description The selected candidate will function as Full Stack Engineer Sr. supporting the Lockheed Martin Software Factory activities within the Enterprise Operations business area. This Enterprise IT Full Stack Engineer position is responsible for developing, modifying, testing deploying and maintaining applications in support of the Lockheed Martin Software Factory. The selected candidate will be a thought leader and a key technical resource on the Software Factory full stack engineering team. As part of a hands-on enablement service, resources on this team will pair with program engineering teams across the business. In addition to hands on enablement of program teams this position will design, develop, and release reusable components of a DevOps pipeline to be consumed by the enterprise. In this position, you will be responsible for developing software in support of some of the most cutting-edge efforts in the world and participate in establishing an updated software development environments. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a high-performing team with responsibilities that include: Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software. Participating in the full software development lifecycle using Scalable Agile Methodology. Developing creative, straightforward solutions to technical and user experience challenges. Participating in the team’s daily stand-ups, testing, and demos. Developing unit tests to assist in maintaining code coverage. Providing inputs towards the architecture solution for software development environments. Some travel is required to support demonstration integration efforts. Basic Qualifications A Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI in the future. Experience with at least one or more Object Oriented Supported Languages: Java, Kotlin, Ruby, Python, .NET, JavaScript Experience with modern software development concepts such as CI/CD, Micro-Service Oriented Architectures, Containerization, Infrastructure as Code, Agile Development Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation including but not limited to Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Concourse Full Stack Development experience utilizing DevOps practices Experience developing application interfaces, translations and transformations Demonstrated understanding and experience with full life cycle development and sustainment, leveraging a disciplined engineering process for both implementation as well as Operations and Maintenance Desired skills Certification credentials (AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect) Bachelor’s degree in a software, engineering or equivalent technical discipline Familiarity with agile development methodologies Familiarity integrating DevOps tools into end to end pipelines Willingness to operate in an interactive local and virtual team environment using paired programming and test driven development processes Virtual yes Zip 08057, 19406, 20817, 23435, 76108 EEO Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
