Goodmanson Construction is looking for a Fleet Detailer – Construction Equipment and Vehicles 

DESCRIPTION: We are a growing construction company with an expanding fleet. Are you looking for a position where you get to wash, detail and keep a fleet in tip top shape? This position is for you! This position will assist in seasonal snow removal and possible field operations or mechanics. The anticipated hours for the position will be on 2nd shift, 40 hours per week. Why should you join us? RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cleaning, greasing, washing and general detailing of fleet equipment Cleans and tests returned equipment making sure operation and appearance is up to standards. Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions Responsible for wearing proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensuring cleaning, detailing, washing and sanitization supplies are available Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage Participation in snow events working a snow plow or shovel Performs other related duties as required QUALIFICATIONS: Positive attitude and can-do mentality Minimum of 3 months experience with washing, waxing, cleaning and buffing, masking, sanding, grinding and applying paint; removing and replacing small parts, carrying out minor repairs on commercial or fleet vehicles and equipment. Willing to work 2nd shift, including occasional weekends Attendance is crucial and must be punctual MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid MN driver’s license & clean corporate insurable driving record Must be able to work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions Must pass DOT-pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check Ability to work during snow events such as labor, shoveling or snowplowing Manual dexterity and physical stamina, ability to lift heavy objects up to 75lbs and walk and stand for extended periods of time All candidates must be willing to submit to any job-related background check, medical exam and drug screen that are required during the hiring process.
