Develops software and procedures that improve processing capabilities. Analyzes, codes, tests, and implements in coordination with management, associates, and end users. Serves as production system support by resolving issues and ensuring ongoing functionality. May oversee the work of less experienced analysts or assist in special projects as needed. This role is remote eligible. Responsibilities: Software design and development, testing and documentation across our backend, front-end and interaction management platforms to deliver end-to-end features Work with product owners and designers to expand the feature set and create high-quality user interfaces Take operational responsibility for the performance and quality of services owned by your team, potentially including taking part in an on-call rotation Deep dive into recent technologies and work with the products team to transfer ideas into products. Coach and guide less experienced team members Contribute to the architectural design process for new products and solutions Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance 4+ years of experience and have a solid understanding of backend (PHP/Laravel preferred, Python, Java/Spring desirable) and front-end languages (JavaScript) and frameworks (Vue.js desirable) 3+ Hands on development experience with implementing digital channels with Five 9s Care and know about software engineering practices like continuous delivery and automated testing Solid experience of working in an agile development environment and collaborating with a team The ideal candidate has IVR, conversational interaction management or AI domain experience Care and know about software engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming and automated testing Solid experience of working in an agile development environment and collaborating with a team Experienced in working with distributed systems comprised of multiple services in addition to having built and scaled monoliths Software design and development, testing and documentation across our backend, front-end and interaction management platforms to deliver end-to-end features Work with product owners and designers to expand the feature set and create high-quality user interfaces Take operational responsibility for the performance and quality of services owned by your team
