This Engineer role with Associated Bank will be primarily responsible for managing and maintaining AWS infrastructure. They will work with application developers to automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of applications quickly and reliably. The ideal candidate will have a background in development, operations, and full-stack implementations; programming in high-level languages such as Ruby, Python, Java, C3, etc. to script installation, configuration, and provisioning; and experience providing continuous delivery solutions in a cloud environment with a core suite of tools used to manage different cloud providers. Key responsibilities include: Managing and maintaining AWS infrastructures configurations through infrastructure as code. Completing code and script updates, and code reviews within version control systems. Working with internal product teams to diagnose implementation and configuration errors. Contributing expertise on cloud resources, security and risk items, and operational impact on platform changes. Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and providing automation enhancements to the platform. Collaborating with internal AWS customers on cloud resource architecture implementations Documenting processes, procedures, and writing user stories. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, Data Science, Analytics, or related field. More than 2 years’ experience with cloud infrastructure management and automation technologies and familiarity with a broad portfolio of AWS infrastructure tools (i.e., EBS, S3, EC2, Elastic IP, Route 53, and VPC). Required Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation) and version control software (GitHub, BitBucket). Preferred Exposure to maintaining pipelines in CICD automation tools (GitHub Actions, BitBucket Pipelines, AWS Codebuild, Jenkins, etc.). Preferred Scripting skills for monitoring and automation (Powershell, Python, Bash). Note: this position can be hired as an Engineer or Senior Engineer.
