Willbrook Solutions Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability Job Requisition Number: 3123154 Job Title: Engineer-Computer Scientist Labor Location: Huntsville, AL JOB DESCRIPTION Willbrook Solutions is seeking an entry-level Engineer/Computer Scientist that will work in an integrated team environment in support of Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities for the Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment (ITASE) Program. The candidate will support the development and utilization of an analysis tool suite for evaluation of Radar, Missile, and Command and Control (C2) models. RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS The candidate for this position will support the re-coding of an existing analysis toolset to operate in the ITASE environment. The candidate will also support the definition and generation of analysis metrics that can be used to evaluate Radar detection/tracking, C2 processing, and end-game performance analysis. The candidate will provide analysis of run data from the ITASE models for both single runs and raid and Monte Carlo runs. The candidate will support the generation of analysis metrics/plots including statistical analysis for the Monte Carlo runs. The candidate will support the documentation of the analysis results in concise technical briefings and data packages, to include all M&S and analysis tool code developed under the task. The candidate will support technical briefings to the Customer and participate in ITASE working groups. REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Must be U.S. Citizen Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET and higher-level clearance Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical field with at least 2 years of experience is desired but recent graduates will be considered Experience using C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Simulink, or other programming languages. Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate with experts from varied disciplines Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to clearly communicate in simple, easily understood terms.
