Our client, which designs and manufactures high-quality outdoor equipment, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for building and validating prototype electrical systems for hybrid-electrical equipment. You will work cross functionally with different departments focused on delivering next-gen products. Job Title: Electrical Technician. Location: Minneapolis, MN (no remote working option). Pay: $33-38/hr. Essential Duties & Responsibilities PCB rework and assembly Building prototype harnesses and validate functionality in machines or stationary equipment. Prototype lithium-ion battery packs and conduct functional testing. Coordinate test plan logistics. Assist design team with creating new design documentation and updates. Management of electronics lab and update parts. Evaluate electronics using power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, CAN bus analysis tools. Qualifications Minimum 7 years’ experience in mechanical or electrical role in lieu of educational background, or: Technical degree or certifications with minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technician. PCB soldering and rework experience required. Comfortability using hand/power tools. Troubleshooting experience. Electrical harness design, component ordering, harness construction experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, flexibility, motivation and dependability.
