Controller- Thuma Care Investments Job Summary: The Controller’s main purpose is to direct all financial functions to maximize customer experience and business profitability. This position oversees all the financial aspects of all the Bykota Visiting Angels Home Care Agencies, as well as all other aspects of TCI’s Real Estate investments. This position reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for managing all accounting employees within TCI. Starting Pay for this Position is $90,000- Year This is a full-time, salary position in our main Pagosa Springs Office located at 310 N. Pagosa Blvd. Pagosa Springs, CO Office Hours Are Monday Through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM This position also qualifies for full benefits as well as Profit Sharing General Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop and monitor billing and payroll processes, and audit billing and payroll each cycle. Manage agreements & processes for specialty payer sources. Supervise, train and evaluate staff doing these functions. Monitor and make recommendations for business functions including; collections, NM revenue tax, chart of accounts, cash flow projections, gross/net profits, mileage and Overtime costs, rate increases, pay increases. Provide input to the CEO and or Owner when considering changes to the organization Input weekly statistics for weekly meetings and maintain accuracy of that file. Develop, maintain and investigate all Key Performance Indicators for the accounting division Maintain software, updates, and other department items needed to function normally. Oversee payroll systems and recommend changes when needed Communicate Financial metrics to senior management. Develop and oversee financial controls. Produce regular financial reports. Improve marketing aspect of Accounting Dept. Prepare and oversee financial reporting for all llcs and parent companies Other tasks or items as assigned by COO or CEO Required Qualifications: * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be mature, energetic, enthusiastic and a motivated person that wants to be a team player. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be gifted at working with various personality types and be able to multi-task and produce positive results. Accounting degree or equivalent, or higher Must have managerial experience and able to oversee a multifaceted department Must have good phone skills and excel at Customer Service. Must be detail oriented Must be organized. Must be self-directed and be able to lead and direct financial affairs of the business. Must be proficient at Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Quick books. Must have an ownership mindset.
