You will perform service initiatives in conjunction with producer by following internal procedures to enhance customer experience. Advocate for clients through marketing process by following up on expirations with producers and underwriters to renew and obtain best coverage and pricing for clients. Obtain quotes from carriers for new and existing business. Maintain positive relationships with carriers to assure accurate and timely response. Remain technically competent on insurance coverages and options that are offered by the insurance companies. This includes working towards additional insurance designations and maintaining current designations. Continue to broaden knowledge of the industry with continuing education, learning markets and accessing new ones when necessary for growing a book of business. Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferred At least three years of experience in the commercial insurance industry Previous commercial insurance experience and understanding of professional liability coverage is a plus Ability to acquire and maintain state property and casualty insurance license required An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills The preferred candidate is a team player with a great attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills required Must be thorough, detail-oriented and is responsible for working with confidential information Ability to accommodate immediate requests, perform under short deadlines and coordinate multiple jobs Ability to function independently with minimal supervision Why Choose HUB?
