Join our well established client. As a Civil Engineer – EIT, you would be responsible for executing engineering projects with the assistance of professional engineers. You would also be in charge of designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of structures and facilities in buildings, roads, airports, and other infrastructures. The basic requirements for the position include a degree in Civil Engineering, a US Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate, and experience in Civil Engineering. Responsibilities Assisting in preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and plans Designing and drafting using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software Participating in inspection and testing of completed projects Performing cost estimating, surveying, and project coordination Conducting field investigations and analytical/numerical analyses Coordinating project activities with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders Preparing technical reports, progress reports, and other correspondence Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering EIT certification 1 – 2 years of experience in the Civil Engineering field Good verbal and written communication skills High level of analytical and problem-solving skills Good knowledge of computer software and tools used in Civil Engineering Knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations and codes related to civil engineering.
