University of Mary is looking for a Biochemistry/Chemistry Faculty 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Biochemistry/Chemistry The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Professor of Biochemistry/Chemistry at the Assistant or Associate rank (commensurate with experience and qualifications). The preferred starting date for this appointment is September 2023, but a starting date as late as September 2024 is possible. The candidate will teach 12 credits each semester, with responsibilities in biochemistry and introductory chemistry. The new faculty member will have the opportunity to develop and teach intermediate and advanced courses in their area(s) of interest/expertise. A PhD in Biochemistry or Chemistry and demonstrated experience teaching at the college level are required. This is a new and growing major, and faculty are expected to engage in student-centered undergraduate research and consider participating in our funded, well-developed, and active summer undergraduate research experience (www.umary.edu/SURVE). All faculty are expected to demonstrate a willingness to support and advance the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission and identity of the University of Mary (see ).
