Alfresco Engineer (Remote) Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Senior Java Engineer with Alfresco experience whos passionate about software modernization, with strong designing enterprise solution using Java, JEE, Spring Boot and related Java Technology stack and is capable to work on developing highly scalable enterprise-level applications. Job Location: Phoenix, AZ, various (Remote) **You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.** Day-To-Day Responsibilities: Maintaining and administering Alfresco Content Services Platform. Conducting performance testing to ensure services are performing with the defined SLA. Participate in Architecture/Design, coding and automated test scripts and lead product envisioning, design, and development. Ensuring high performance of applications and providing support. Collaborate and communicate across business and technology teams. Developing functional, technical and user interface designs for an application that meets the defined requirements (business, system performance and standards) Manage Alfresco ECM with integrated environments that use n-tier designs and extensive Firewalling to enhance security. Manage and support Search sub-systems (SOLR/Elastic Search) indexing and searching. Key Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in development of Java, J2EE. Experience in Spring Boot & Spring Frameworks and JSP/Servlets. Alfresco ECM/ADF (Alfresco “ Share, Alfresco – Records management & Alfresco “ Activiti) Experience in cloud AWS/Azure. Knowledge about RESTful Services. Experience in JSON, XML & Git/Bitbucket Knowledge about Angular & Java script Experience in web/application servers (Tomcat) Experience in SQL and MySQL Knowledge in Agile Methodologies.
