The QRC Airborne ISR Systems Division of the Airborne Solutions Group of Leidos currently has an opening for an Aircraft Simulator Quality Assurance supporting the Army National Guard (ANG) Aviation Training Services and Operational Support (ATSOS) program in Bridgewater, VA. Leidos is the prime contractor providing flight training, simulation training, classroom instruction and schoolhouse support activities including the One Army School System (OASS) integration, and Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) maintenance for platforms and simulation devices in use or anticipated to be in use by the Army National Guard. The Aircraft Simulator Quality Assurance will join our team in support of AATS training mission and regionally supported units in simulation devices including the UH-72A Cockpit Procedure Trainer (CPT), UH-72A Synthetic Flight Training System (SFTS), Advanced Blackhawk Flight Simulator (ABHFS), UH-60A/L SFTS, CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS), and UH-60V/M Blackhawk Aviation Trainer (BAT); while providing evaluation of all simulator utilization and operation. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience supporting the ATSOS program. Primary Responsibilities: Visit each ARNG Simulation Device once for six months of performance (if necessary- across multiple Task Orders) and evaluate all simulator utilization and operation. Compile a detailed travel report for each site visited within 10 workdays of each visit, to include the location of travel, dates of travel, objectives of travel, minutes from discussions with local Government representatives, recommendations for the Government. Perform up to one week of TDY at the National Guard Bureau, Arlington Hall Station, to provide recommended policy changes developed from travel Q/A Reports to ARNG-AV personnel. Shall travel to simulator sites for the fielding of new systems to provide recommendations for the Government on site selection, device setup, and troubleshooting. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree and 4 – 8 years ˜experience; or Masters degree with 2 years experience; 4 additional years of related experience will be acceptable in lieu of a Bachelors degree. Experience evaluating operations with UH-72A Cockpit Procedure Trainer (CPT), UH-72A Synthetic Flight Training System (SFTS), Advanced Blackhawk Flight Simulator (ABHFS), UH-60A/L SFTS, CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS), and UH-60V/M Blackhawk Aviation Trainer (BAT) simulator systems. Experience conducting evaluations of Army Aviation Collective Training. Experience conducting instruction of Aviation Non-Rated Crew Member qualifications. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance; an interim Secret level security clearance is acceptable to begin work. Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products. Previous experience at EAATS, HAATS, WAATS or U.S. Army Aviation Training Center. ATSOS Pay Range: Pay Range $66,300.00 – $119,850.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
